JINGLE THURSDAY POET'S RALLY-SHE IS NO LONGER ALONE!

She is a mommy to be

and

She is no longer alone.

Once 

a long long time ago,  

she was all alone.

Then

She remembered when

Papa and Ma were always fighting

with

Never a moment of peace,

Never a moment of hope.

Hence, 

She was not alone.

Though

Papa was always drinking

and

Ma was always unhappy.

As

Papa was a writer, 

Ma was a dreamer.

She was their little precious.

Even though

Papa was never famous

and

Ma was just a shadow of 

the woman she used to be.

Evidently

They were not rich but 

they were together,

until

One fine day

When Papa and Ma overslept

and

She tried so hard to wake them up

but

There was just too much smoke

and

There was no one to help

hence

Papa and Ma died in the burning house

and

She lost the only home she knew

for

She was only five.

Suddenly,

She is feeling cold,

Someone placed a very thick shawl

lovingly and tightly 

on her,

She smiles and turned to see,

The man who saved her,

The man who is now her protector,

The father of her unborn baby,

and

The man who is her beloved husband,

Her long lost soul mate,

He found her in an orphanage 

and although 

he is twenty years older than her

Needless to say,

She loves him with all her heart

as

they grew more in love each day,

Indeed, 

they are lost soul mates , 

but now found

and 

Soon she will be a mother,

She has a home of her own now

and

She will no longer be alone.
